Akhil Sai Latchireddi is a Senior Platform Engineer at Quantiphi with 4.61 years of relevant experience in cloud engineering. He is an enthusiastic cloud engineer who is eager to contribute to team success through hard work, attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills. Akhil has a clear understanding of DevOps Practices, automation/orchestration with IaC tools, and integration between platforms. Akhil has expertise in designing and implementing cloud-native, serverless, microservice architectures in AWS based on client requirements while focusing on cost efficiency, security, and high availability. He has also worked on setting up CI/CD pipelines using Gitlab and Code Deploy, developing Auto Tagging solutions for AWS resources, and enhancing security by using WAF and Guard Duty. Apart from this, Akhil has a strong understanding of Operating systems(RHEL), Networking Concepts. He has experience in Microservice Deployment in ECS and Deploying Serverless applications in Lambda, Glue, Step Functions, Aurora Serverless Global Databases. He has also worked on setting up Disaster recovery with cloud-native features and automated whitelisting of Ips in SGs from Slack from AWS Change Manager. In his previous roles as a Cloud Developer at TCS and Wipro, Akhil was responsible for on-cloud migration of AWS accounts, strengthening security across the org, and implementing DevOps CICD using Azure DevOps Repos, Pipelines, and Deployment groups. He has also analyzed complex applications using 6R's migration strategy according to requirements like the end of service life(legacy applications), data center remediation, COTS, and Bespoke applications. Akhil has completed his Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Viziangaram, and has also pursued a Python course from IIT. He has a strong tech stack including AWS, ECS, Terraform, DevOps, Microservices, CI/CD, Jenkins, Big Data, Integration, Azure, infra, Python, Ansible, Amazon Athena, Kubernetes, and Docker.
